My TBR pile

I am currently reading Deep West which is a literary collection by Wyoming authors like Annie Proulx.

Here is what I put on hold at the library recently:

*Divergent by Veronica Roth

*Variant by Robison Wells

*Glass Castle by Jeanette Wells

*Matched by Ally Condie

*The End Of Normal by Stephanie Madoff Mack

*The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Reading is so important to me. I truly believe the wisdom that a writer MUST read. In fact I met an author recently who said she hadn't read a book in ten years. I was shocked!

What book are you waiting to get your hands on? Have you already read all of the ones I listed?

I've read 1, 4 and 6 and loved them all. I can't wait to get my hands on Crossed by Ally Condie and I've heard Variant is good so I want to read that too. Reading really is the best! 10 years without reading a book? How strange!

The last two on your list I haven't heard of yet, but the others are all on my list. I also have INHERITANCE by Christopher Paolini in the mail! I can't wait. I've been excited to finish the series.

I love reading. It inspires me to write!

I haven't read any of those books, but I read all the time!

I'm also behind on the Hunger Games band wagon so I'm planning on reading that one before the movie. :)

I don't even know where to start w my tbr pile, lol. I'm finishing the name of the star. Finishing dash and lily's book of dares, and just started but I love him. I need a night read book, a day read book, and one in my car...

I agree that reading should be a high priority for a writer. Although it is hard to fit it in sometimes :)

My list of books to read is getting ridiculously long now. There is so much great work out there!

I have Divergent, Variant, and Matched just sitting there waiting for me to finish NaNo.
I loved Guernsey Lit & PPP society. It a cute bit of historical fiction told epistlistic. (I might have just made up that last word)

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is already on my nightstand, as is Sarah's Key by de Rosnay.
I'll have to look at the other titles on your list too - as luck would have it I was just asking for a few recommendations on my blog.

I also have Variant and Matched on my list of waiting to read.

I also started Pumpkin Roll by Josi Kilpack, but had to put it down to finish a book that is due.

I recently read Divergent, and I've read Matched, but I just got Crossed in the mail. :) Along with Variant, and a couple others I'm SO EXCITED to read-- Shatter Me, and Alloy of Law.

Those are some great books you've got on the horizon. Happy reading!
