So, I heard recently that most New Year's Resolutions never even make it to February. Can you believe it? We set out to do something for a whole year and can't even press on for 31 days?
Well, your Resolution Solution is here. I wanted to do a quick check up and see where everyone was at.
Here are the results of my own exam: and don't worry, this one does not require a rubber glove! I've combined my "professional" and "personal" goals here.
*Revise The Letters Never Sent and submit it to the publisher.
-I have delved into this full force and am painstakingly cutting, pasting, re-verbing, and pulling out my hair (my newly brunette hair that is).
*Finish a rough draft of Danielle, Never The Bride. I am at 10,000 words (out of 75K).
-I hit 20K before delving into revisions on Work In Progress Number 1. Oh yeah. Oh yeah!
*Try to attend LDS Storymakers Conference.
-Well, I couldn't have a completely spotless bill of health, now could I? I won't be attending this conference. I decided it was a little too selfish of an expense for this year. There are many things my family is more in need of. But hey, there's always next year!
*Get started on our long-term savings.
-Oh, I've gotten started on it all right! Started spending it, that is. See, this is why we need to regroup monthly.
*And finally the only resolution that really related to health: See a number on the scale that I haven't seen in a couple years.
-It's on the horizon! I've lost about four pounds and have about 10 to go.
Let me be YOUR Resolution Solution. Here is your check in. How's it going? Are you following through with your New Year's Resolutions? (I accept all major insurances). And if you become a "follower" I will wave the Dr.'s fee entirely. Just teasing! Comment people.
